Prayer is one of the most powerful weapons God has given us.  Yet at times, one of the last things we ever think of doing.  Why? Because when our prayers aren't answered, we give up.  We live in a time of instant gratification; wanting things to go our way instantly.  But those are selfish motives behind those prayers.  If our heart is in right standing with God, He will hear us.  That does not mean that He is going to answer our prayers immediately.  In Colossians 4:2 it says, "Continue steadfastly in prayer."  Take the time to pray about your requests, truly lay them at His feet, trust that He is in control of your life, give thanks and praise for all He has done for you.  And in God's perfect timing, He will answer your prayer.  Even a "no" is still an answer; so thank Him and praise Him for it.   Prayer is powerful!  It can change the most wicked of hearts, heal the sick, provide provision for daily life, restore a broken relationship and even deliver you from addiction.  There is no end to what your prayers can do.  So keep praying mighty warrior and be victorious!
